TreeSD Holds Friendraiser

This December, Tree San Diego held its first Friendraiser, a networking party intended to introduce the organization to local communities throughout the San Diego region. The event was held at a beautiful, historic home in the Banker’s Hill neighborhood, owned by Ray Arias. It was co-chaired by Stephen Padilla, Chula Vista City Council Member, and local California Coastal Commissioner. Executive Director, Laurie Broedling, introduced Tree San Diego to the audience, discussing our accomplishments to date and the challenges moving forward.
Development coordinator, Clayton Tschudy, introduced the audience to our two new two initiatives, described above.

We thank all who donated their time, materials, and money to make the event possible. Ray Arias, Dr. Robert Houghton, the Burns/Grepe Family, Hoots Catering, and our volunteer event planner, Elizabeth Lechner.
