Plant It Forward with Us!
This Earth Month, Tree San Diego is dedicating 1,000 trees to residents across San Diego County through community plantings and tree distribution events all April long! We’re making it easy for families to plant shade, cleaner air, and climate resilience in their own neighborhoods.
What is Plant It Forward?
Plant It Forward is our Earth Month 2026 initiative to place 1,000 trees directly into the hands of residents throughout San Diego County. Each week, hundreds of trees will be given away to residents who register through our online form.

Throughout April, our team will:

Host community tree distributions and plantings

Launch tree distribution pop-ups across neighborhoods

Partner with local community gardens, schools, cities, and NGOs

Celebrate Arbor Day with a special planting and distribution event​
