In 2025, Tree San Diego and our partners planted 2404 trees across San Diego County—expanding shade, cooling neighborhoods, and growing a more climate-resilient urban forest. Planting Roots, Sharing: IRG & Arbor Day Foundation Tree Event Tree San Diego collaborated with Indigenous Regeneration to host a powerful community planting and distribution event, made possible through the generous support of the  Arbor Day Foundation . We distributed  200 fruit trees to residents—including Black Mission Fig, Galaxy Peach, Pomegranate, and Pineapple Guava—and planted 100 native trees (25 each of Coast Live Oak, Engelmann Oak, Torrey Pine, and Arizona Ash)

Tree San Diego recently partnered with Ross Elementary for a joyful planting day filled with community spirit, gratitude, and teamwork!
