Tree Steward Training

Tree San Diego's Tree Stewards Program is open to anyone who wants to learn more about the benefits and care of trees and how to help educate their local community about our  urban forest. 

Trejuvenation

Diverting end-of-life urban trees away from wood chippers or landfills and toward beneficial products like lumber, furniture, musical instruments, and biochar.

Smart Roots

A scalable outreach program that brings urban forestry education and climate change awareness to disadvantaged communities in San Diego County.

Terrific Trees Project

An ongoing program that teaches the many ways trees can improve human and environmental health.

Tree Advantage

Tree planting initiatives that increase the tree canopy in selected communities that are in need of numerous environmental co-benefits like urban heat mitigation.
