August 2026: Branch Out Academy is Back!

As students head back to the classroom this fall, Tree San Diego is ready to meet them there.

Branch Out Academy (BOA) is Tree San Diego's youth engagement program designed to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards and with the new school year kicking off, there's no better time to bring urban forestry education into your classroom.

Each BOA session is tailored to the age group and includes a Tree Stewards presentation introducing students to the vital role trees play in our communities, a mini Tree Trek where students explore and identify the trees on their school grounds, and eco-friendly giveaways like stickers and seed packets to keep the learning going at home. Every session is delivered class by class, working closely with teachers to ensure a meaningful experience for every group.
