San Diego's paid urban forestry workforce training program is gearing up for its next cohort this Fall and we want you to be a part of it.

Tree San Diego's Treejectory+ program is preparing to open applications for its next cohort. If you've ever wanted to turn a passion for the environment into real skills and a real career, this is your opportunity.
Treejectory+ is a paid workforce development and education program designed specifically for residents of disadvantaged and low-income communities across San Diego County. Led by ISA Certified Arborists, participants gain hands-on urban forestry training, GIS mapping skills, and direct access to career pathways in the green workforce, all while contributing to the planting and care of trees across the region.
The Spring 2026 cohort just wrapped up with 65 participants, and the momentum is only growing. Applications for the next cohort will be opening soon!
Who Should Apply?
San Diego County residents (note: must live in a designated underserved community to qualify for stipend)
Anyone eager to build skills in urban forestry, environmental science, drones, or GIS
Candidates ready to make a direct impact in theircommunity
